A zygote is the initial cell of a new organism created by sexual reproduction. This is a collection of my zygotes: my short stories based on larger universes/stories/novels I have built or plan to build. Some of these tales have been published before, others not, and some are brand new just for this collection. Werewolves, BDSM, elves, space pirates, celebutantes, and oh yeah... vampires and little centaurs...  If all goes well I plan on having this out in March of 2011. Look below for story highlights.

Gee, I guess I could make people read all the way to the bottom, but no, I will be kind. There will be two stories about a certain herd of little centaurs. One will take place when the kids are around ten years of age, another when some of them are fifteen. These stories will serve as bridges for future, longer tales that will take place as they begin to forge their own destinies. I do not have titles, taglines, or plot teasers I wish to reveal just yet--as there are a hell of a lot of people who haven't read Wolves yet...  

There will one --as of yet un-named--Jake and Lorcan story: the tale of how they met and Jake became a thrall.  I suppose it could be considered kind of vampire M/M--lol. Squee! Squee! even for those who have not read Blood is Thicker Than Water.

And if we have vampires, we have to have werewolves: Acceptance is a story I wrote for a "queerwolf" antholgy someone was putting together. I liked the characters so much I didn't submit the story because kept thinking I would do something larger with them.  It's the story of Jack the werewolf, and his Wolf's relationship with Breck: a relationship Jack doesn't want as a human. Jack really wants to be an alpha: his Wolf is really happy as a beta. Breck is all Alpha.
