Ok, we survived the Zindra continent move - and after much teeth gnashing and tears we have a wonderful piece of land. However i's not open for buiness yet because I've been writing or something similar to it. When I feel like playing with 2L again, I will set up the fan appeciation park again.    

Stay tuned. The Event Center will remain, but in a slightly different form. There will be a brief period without the drivable ships/boats. The sex beds will longer be available for free. There will be other free playthings, though.  

I am proud to present the Alien Perspective Event Center and the Raised By Wolves Fan Appreciation Park in the virtual world of Second Life. This virtual world location will allow me - or others - to host events like readings or fan club meetings in a very interactive and personal atmosphere. People can attend - for free - from all over the world. All a person will need is a reasonably good computer and a fast Internet connection. The Second Life site will be available twenty-four-seven for fans to meet and play.

You need to be logged into Second Life to use the SLURL above. Alternately, you can log into Second Life and use the search function to search for Alien Perspective as a place. (You will need to check the "show mature" box in order for it to come up.) If you are not a Second Life member, please see the How Do I Get There page.

My main account is Venus Frequency. If you need to talk to me, or see something going wrong with the attractions, you can IM me in game even if I'm not on. I will receive the message the next time I log in. As acourtesy, please tell me who you are in the real world -- or who I know you as online -- when messaging me.

The Center has interactive seating for thirty-six, a slide show board that can be easily adapted to any presentation, and VOIP sound that allows a speaker to actually speak to the audience. The Event Center is located in the big black sphere hanging over the Park. To reach the Event Center, you need to use the teleporter on the entry pad - the place high up on the cliff with the monolith-looking sign. Follow the teleporter instructions. When it tells you to sit on the beam, it means right click on the beam and choose the 'transport" option.  

The Park contains interactive and atmospheric elements reminiscent of the Raised By Wolves series - and of upcoming series. It is not an attempt to specifically recreate any locale in any of the books. It is designed as a place for fans of the series to meet and mingle, possibly role play, and possibly amuse themselves in ways only a virtual world can offer. This s a two-masted vessel very similar - for a virtual creation - to the brig known in the series as the Virgin Queen.  (Ships in the bucaneer period did not possess wheels though; they used an older steering mechanism known as a whipstaff.) She has two cannon on her bow - they will fire if touched. She can also "sail" with up to eight passengers. I will be arranging sailing times and listing them on the Events Calendar. No, we cannot go roving against the neighbors... But we can all dress up like pirates and drink rum.
